We are an inclusive, supportive, like-minded group of enthusiastic stitchers, whether you’re exploring textiles as a beginner or been enjoying textiles in depth, all levels of experience are welcome.
- Our members’ interests and skills are diverse, from traditional embroidery and quilting to experimental mixed media work.
- The programme of speakers and workshops are designed for all skill levels.
- Stitch Colour Cloth is an independent group affiliated to the Scottish Stitch & Textile group and the Embroiderers Guild.
- We hold exhibitions, open days, participate in community projects and The Gathering (an annual convention of all independent stitching groups under the “Scottish Stitch and Textiles” umbrella).
- Our group connects you to others with the same interest, gives you the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and learn new skills.
- We are led by an enthusiastic volunteer committee
The group meets on the second Saturday of the month from September to May at Oakbank Community Centre, Viewlands Road West, Perth. PH1 1NA. Timings and the full programme of events can be viewed here
