As we all soak up the last few days of sunshine, our summer break is coming to an end and we’re gearing up to start our 2023/24 curriculum this Saturday. In the morning, we will meet for an informal “Stitch & Chat” where we will get to know each other a bit better. Everyone is invited to bring their work in progress or a recently finished piece to show and talk about. Many of our members greatly value this opportunity to chat to others with the same hobby and exchange tips. It’s always nice to meet like-minded people!
In the afternoon, our guest speaker will be the wonderful Sheila Mortlock. We are excited to hear her presentation about “Memory of Place”. After the presentation, there will be the chance for questions and a discussion with Sheila. We are very much looking forward to the talk of such a talented artist!
